Ingeborg Vreeswijk works lyrical-abstract, with elements, figurative or otherwise, with different materials. Inner images (internalized experiences) and sometimes outer images, show her the way to a composition while painting, which for her expresses something essential. In addition, she paints expressive portraits (the gaze). By following her hands unimpeded, she stays as close as possible to herself and to what she wants to express.
