Adrie is a photographer and shows various facets of his visual work including his “selfies” in which an exciting inner world is projected outward. He also shows work in which he makes composite images of photos from his archive in which an inner treasure chamber shows itself in a colorful way like a Pandora’s box.
Ingrid works mostly spatially and uses casts of her own body with which she makes large and small installations. Like a face with fingers that tells its own story. Themes in her work are space and restriction, freedom and unfreedom. Her images also touch on the imperfection of life, decay, pain and being wounded and its beauty.
Nelleke Ponsteen makes drawings at large (about 2 meters) and smaller sizes. The female body is central to her soft, round and fragile forms, but also in its intransigence, the body speaks its own language of powerful vulnerability.
