What binds these ACHT artists is that they are the newest members of the Amsterdam artist association. Under the motto “grow, inspire, create,” the association is offering them the opportunity to develop through the experience of setting up this exhibition.

Founded in 1880, St. Luke’s has a wealth of exhibition experience. This time the stage is set for the eight new members of the artist association. They will present their work from March 6 through March 15, 2026 at the Art Square in De Gruyterfabriek. This exhibition celebrates diversity in techniques and themes, from 2D and 3D to photography, drawings, textiles and ceramics.

Featured are topics of interest to the artists, including safety, play, the human body and planetary boundaries. The exhibition offers fresh perspectives on emerging talent and experienced makers, with works that reflect on contemporary issues and personal stories. All in a dynamic setting that invites young artists and students to explore and connect.

Sint Lucas Artist Association values commitment and opportunities and therefore regularly issues Open Calls. For that reason, an additional highlight during this exhibition is an “Open Wall”: a presentation wall that offers artists who are still studying or have just graduated the chance to come and show their work. “We want to encourage young artists to participate in the community and find their own path,” said the board of Saint Luke’s. But above all, the artist association wants to proudly present its newest members with this exhibition! For information: check out the St. Luke’s website.
